Dimitri Timos, music director of the Chicago Greek wedding band Rythmos, is the new force in Chicago’s Greek live music entertainment. Dimitri has successfully adapted to different singing styles. From rock, contemporary to laiko, rebetiko and traditional Greek music, he delivers a stellar performance. The unique tone of his voice in combination with his masterful technique and dynamics create a powerful package. A 3rd year doctoral student of music at University of Illinois, Dimitri has successfully collaborated with various artists in numerous venues throughout the United States. Along with being an exceptional singer and instrumentalist, Dimitri is also a successful arranger and composer. His innovative style has infused a fresh sound in Greek music entertainment.
